HAZARDOUS CARGO

We can handle all types of hazardous goods except for explosives and radioactive materials.

If required, our staff can advise you on the completion of DG notes, segregation issues and the new Instructions in Writing / Trem card requirements. Just fax your Dangerous Goods notes to our office and we will revert with the required information.

We operate an approved supplier list of hauliers who can carry hazardous goods. All our drivers carry a full PPE ( Personal Protection Equipment ) pack and are experienced in the transportation of hazardous goods and the different transit restrictions imposed by individual European member states

At Route One we are able to accept hazardous freight classes 2, 3, 4, 6.1, 8, 9, 5.1, 5.2, excluding those that require temperature controlled vehicles. 6.1, 8, 9 and selected 5.2  as bagged product, drums or cartons on pallets, IBCs, and polybulks.
